I’m Still Alive!

Ive been very busy lately, havn’t even got alot of time to post on my own blog! Anyways, I’ll give you the run down what has been happening in the last month or so.

eCybermission:

Well, we won something…AGAIN! We placed the same spot as we did last year, which is 2nd place in the entire south east region of the US, and we got another $3,000 dollars in saving bonds. This time around, my mom asked to get interviewed by the local newspaper, and they were interested, believe it or not. So we got interviewed along with our teaam advisor. So when that gets published, I will sure let you guys know!

Lastest Client:
My last client, which was a very interesting one was at http://www.droppinglist.com DroppingList is a site in which has the daily domains that are expiring and dropping. So if you are domain hunting for an old domain that might be worth something for your next site, you should go check them out. When I last checked their database, they were around 2,500 domains, but that was a week ago. 😉 Trust me, the database will grow.

Pixel-Designz
My website, http://www.pixel-designz.net is still going strong. I’ve spent alittle bit more time on it getting some things and bugs done, but not that much as I wanted to. I am in the process of brainstorming for the v4. Possibly will get that done over the summer. Its gonna rock! I love my playground! 😉

iCodeLayouts.com
I’ve recently bought a new domain – http://www.icodelayouts.com. This site is going to be a basic service site, you post job request to get your layout coded by muah, and I get it to you. Of course, I still charge my standard flat of $30/css/xhtml layout, but we shall see how that turns out.

iCodeScripts.com
I’ve also bought another domain – http://www.icodescripts.com. This site is going to be a partner in crime along with iCodeLayouts.com. On this, you would post a job request for a script/site/etc and I would code it customly for you. I am still debating on how to work out that system, but I am sure it will be well worth it.

TutCMS
Wow, that is going along really well. I’ve got a entire nice plan going out for it, planning out how its gonna work and such. It is looking really cool from my point of view. Even though I don’t know if it will be a freesource script or licensed, its going to be a really nice addition to the tutorial community.

Other FreeSource Scripts
I am on the final stage of the ACMS ( Affiliation Content Management System ). All the back end coding is all done, just to put it all together and such. It is going to feature alot of new and updated stuff – coded for the newer servers vs my other scripts when I just started out coding. This will definately add a new look on affiliations, making the ndlinks system obsolete.

Secret Projects
Within the last few days – a lot of new projects have popped into play. I’ve got a few deals going on here and there, but as much as I would like to tell you guys what it is – I can’t. 😛 They include from small scale projects and side tracks to entire large communities. You will have to just wait and see until they have been revealed. 🙂

Yet another template?

Yes, believe it or not.  I have changed my template once again.  I have not found one that suits my needs.  I may end up coding my own in the near future, but for now, this will have to do.  I have made drastic progress with all my clients and their projects are ending completition.  I am still working on a bug with WordPress.  WP and its greedy self is not allowing other mod_rewrite rules to be accessed causing problems with scripts that you may have on your site.  It is a really stupid concept and I will find a way to get around that obsticle.

So Many Clients, So Little Time…

Well, I am sure that my name is out there, atleast some where. I have had so many clients coming in needing jobs done that its crazy! I have Dan from http://www.predatorstuff.com with a recode of his blog / script and I have another client who is starting up a myspace supply site with a CMS to do all the little chores. There is also another one who wants a Movie Trailer CMS. One with a Word Press layout that needs coded. An entertainment site CMS thingy mah bobber. And also, v3.final has to be released within about 2 weeks. A Game Review CMS, and probably a lot more stored somewhere else. Of course all these tasks will be completed, and before dinner too 😀

The problem I have is that I have school and I participate in a lot of activities at my Church and in my community. You just wait world! Wait until I am out of school! YOU WILL BE MINE! 😛

Not that I am complaining, I need to build up my portfolio with some nice looking sites, well developed and such. That will bring in even bigger clients in the future. Plus, I need the money to support my projects / LiquidxHost ( The BEST Webhost by the way… 😛 ) I still have not started on TutCMS, my sweet project. I may pick up a few friends and ask them to tag along for the development of that script, who knows. I also have volunteered to help out in some other projects too. School just takes up so much of my day. I get up at 5:45, go to the bus by 6:20. Reach school by 7:10 on a good morning. Go to school…. School ends at 2:30, get home at minutes to 4:00. Turn on computer, check mail, do homework, check mail again, go online / visible. Do work if I am home that day, and then BOOM, its 12:30, back to bed… So yah, So Many Clients, So Little Time… 🙂

Can you count from one to ten in eight languages?

I have recently entered a competition called eCybermission. Students choose a topic in your community and find a way to solve it. What we did, was accelerated learning using technology… You can’t pretty much beat the WWW, that is pretty high tech already! We got translations in counting from one to ten in the following languages:

Spanish

Korean

Chinese

Polish

Japanese

Italian

French

American Sign

You should check it out, you will more and likely learn something new, and you can never stop learning!
More about the project:
eCybermission is a nation wide science competition in the United States in which teams compete at a chance of getting atleast $3000 in saving bonds towards our future, things like college. The longer you keep it, the most interest builds up on it, the more interest, the more it is worth, get my drift? 😛 Since our team placed Second in the South East Region last year and we each got 3k a piece (not too bad eh?), we decided to go again but this time, for first place! This year, we entered once more since the odds are better at winning, and we hope to get first place, which is about 8k a piece, and an all paid for trip to Washington D.C. to present our project infront of the army, or something like that, its gonna be pretty big though, so wish me luck! The results come in later in the school year, maybe towards, the end, so I hope we get atleast another 3k a piece, that would be wonderful 😀

TutCMS!

Hey folks!

I have recently started on my latest project: “TutCMS”. It will be the v2 of my tutorial script “Advanced Tutorial CMS”, but will be a real script and not a tutorial. It will more and likely be very professional using css / divs and no tables 😉 With a touch and PHP and a dab of MySQL, it will be coded for PHP 4+ ( Maybe only PHP5 ), and MySQL 4+ it is definatly going to be a powerhouse.
